The land entitlement process is currently underway for the DESPATCH PARK mixed use precinct in Despatch, Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Eastern Cape.

EMRE is promoting the development of PALAPYE GARDENS,  a mixed-use precinct as a LIVE-WORK-PLAY urban environment, that will become the new urban centre for Palapye, contributing positively to the social and economic well-being of the town.

The precinct comprises a total of 326,526sqm of real estate development.  The master plan includes for the development of 3,748 apartments, 158 free standing houses, a convenience shopping centre, offices, 120 bed private hospital and a school.

Lycaon pictus – derived from the Greek for “wolf” and the Latin for “painted” , variously called African wild dog, African or Cape hunting dog, painted dog, ornate wolf. Only 3,500-5,500 exist, primarily found in southern and eastern Africa.

Nearly 80% of all wild dog hunts end in a kill ; for comparison the success rate of lions, often viewed as ultimate predators, is only 30%. They have the highest bite force quotient (BFQ, the strength of bite relative to mass) of any carnivore.
