Fleurhof Mall is a landmark 22,500 sqm regional convenience shopping centre strategically located between Soweto and Roodepoort, serving one of Johannesburg's fastest-growing residential communities.
Identified, originated and co-leased by EMRE, the shopping centre is being developed by Abcon Developments and the Masingita Group and is scheduled to open in August 2026. Anchored by Shoprite and Pick n Pay, the centre forms the retail heart of a broader mixed-use precinct. EMRE provided the initial deal origination and strategic development input, helping unlock a major new retail destination for the Fleurhof community.
RIVERSTONE MALL, GAUTENG
Riverstone Mall is a modern convenience shopping centre in Meyerton, Gauteng, developed by Alley Roads to serve one of South Africa's fastest-growing residential corridors. Opened in 2025, the fully let centre comprises 20,000 sqm of gross lettable area with over 60 retailers anchored by Checkers Fresh-X, Woolworths, Dis-Chem and Clicks. EMRE provided leasing services, securing a strong national tenant mix that delivers convenience, value and an accessible shopping experience.
LETSHENG MALL
Letsheng Mall is a 10,500 sqm convenience shopping centre in Orange Farm, Gauteng, developed by Edilcon Construction to serve one of South Africa's fastest-growing township communities. Anchored by Pick n Pay, the centre offers a complementary mix of national retailers, convenience services and food outlets in a modern, accessible retail environment. EMRE originated the opportunity and provided development management and leasing services, enabling delivery a vibrant community-focused shopping destination that improves access to essential retail and services while supporting local economic growth.

The Reef, a co-development with Abland with funding from Pod Property Fund, is a 13,500sqm Checkers and Food Lovers anchored centre, which opened in October 2018 in Albermarle, Gauteng.

LOBATSE JUNCTION,
BOTSWANA
Lobatse Junction, a project originated by EMRE and completed as a co-development with Time Projects comprising a Spar anchored 8,500sqm shopping centre on a taxi and bus rank, opened fully let in October 2021.
Other tenants include Clicks, Pep and Mr Price, FNB and Botswana Life. The centre has been sold to Botswana listed company Prime Time.
MAVUNDLA SQUARE, GREYTOWN, KWAZULU-NATAL
EMRE provided development management and leasing services to Mavundla Square, an 8,700sqm convenience centre anchored by Shoprite, developed by Mr Godfrey Mavundla, which opened in June 2015.
